This was the place where we charted a new course for the company and in the process, Compass was born. It was in the living room that we questioned why we exist and solidified our purpose as an organization. The patio was where we created our shared values that charted us out on a journey to build a culture where our people would be prioritized above all else. It was by the fire-pit that many of us saw our mentor and cherished friend Kirby Steil for the last time; he shaped so much of who we are and what we would become.
